Vinachem Joins the Ministry of Public Security in Delivering Social Welfare Programs in Tuyen Quang

As part of activities marking the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force (July 12, 1946 – July 12, 2026) and the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), the People's Security Force under the Ministry of Public Security held a commemorative program on July 27 at the Central Public Security Headquarters Historical Site in Dong Don Village, Minh Thanh Commune, Tuyen Quang Province. The program included an incense offering ceremony, the presentation of gifts, and a range of social welfare activities. Joining the initiative, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) contributed nearly VND 6.6 billion to renovate and construct educational facilities in Minh Thanh Commune, helping improve learning conditions for local students.

The program was attended by Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Director General of the Economic Security Department; Mr. Duong Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police; Mr. Cong Thanh Thao, Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Head of the People's Public Security Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Member of the Members’ Council of the Vietnam National Chemical Group; along with representatives of professional units, local Party committees and authorities, and numerous officers, soldiers, and local residents.

In a solemn atmosphere, delegates offered incense in tribute to the nation's fallen heroes and martyrs at the Central Public Security Headquarters Historical Site. They also paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, visited the Central Public Security Headquarters Museum, signed the commemorative guestbook, and laid flowers at the "Safeguarding National Security" Monument. The activities carried profound political and educational significance, honoring generations of officers and soldiers who dedicated and sacrificed themselves for national security while promoting patriotism and the Vietnamese tradition of gratitude among today's generations.

The commemorative activities were followed by a social welfare program featuring practical initiatives for local residents. On behalf of Vinachem, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh presented symbolic funding of nearly VND 6.6 billion to support the renovation and construction of facilities at August 19 Primary School and Minh Thanh Secondary School.

The funding provided by Vinachem will be used to build and renovate classrooms and supporting facilities at both schools, helping improve educational infrastructure and create a safer, more modern learning environment for teachers and students. The initiative reflects the Group's strong commitment to education while contributing to human resource development and local socio-economic growth.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Thanh Hung and Ms. Hua Thi Ha highly praised the Vietnam National Chemical Group for its partnership with the Ministry of Public Security in carrying out social welfare programs. They expressed sincere appreciation for Vinachem's support, emphasizing that the funding would make a meaningful contribution to improving local educational facilities, creating better teaching and learning conditions, while demonstrating the Group's social responsibility and commitment to supporting the community.

In addition to Vinachem's contribution to education, the Ministry of Public Security carried out a range of meaningful social welfare activities, including presenting gifts to the Minh Thanh Commune Police, the Management Board of the Central Public Security Headquarters Historical Site, policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged households, and students facing difficult circumstances. The Ministry also provided funding for the construction and renovation of housing for security force personnel, organized free medical examinations and medicine distribution, and supported eye surgery for local residents.

Vinachem's partnership with the Ministry of Public Security in this social welfare program in Tuyen Quang once again demonstrates the Group's strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.
