Vinachem Maintains Leading Position as Vietnam’s Top Chemical–Plastics Enterprise for State Budget Contributions in 2025
Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) has once again affirmed its status as the leading state-owned enterprise in the chemical sector by retaining its number one position in the Top 10 chemical–plastics enterprises with the largest state budget contributions in Vietnam for 2025, as announced by VNTAX2026.

VNTAX is a ranking system recognising enterprises with significant contributions to the state budget in Vietnam, established to acknowledge and honour those fulfilling their obligations to the State and to promote a spirit of social responsibility and contribution to economic development. In the field of chemicals and plastics, the ranking reflects both business performance and the role of enterprises in generating revenue for the national budget.

According to the ranking, in 2025 Vinachem contributed VND 2,268 billion to the state budget, accounting for about 29% of the total contributions made by the Top 10 chemical–plastics enterprises in Vietnam. This marks the third consecutive year that Vinachem has led the VNTAX rankings and the second consecutive year that its budget contributions have exceeded VND 2,000 billion.
This achievement continues to affirm Vinachem’s role as the driving force of Vietnam’s chemical industry, while also reflecting the positive changes brought about by restructuring, innovation in management models, enhanced business performance, and resource optimisation among its member units.
In recent years, Vinachem has consistently implemented comprehensive solutions to enhance competitiveness, accelerate digital transformation, innovate technology, reduce costs, utilise resources efficiently, and pursue a strategy of green, modern, and sustainable development. The Group’s core production sectors—including fertilisers, basic chemicals, batteries, technical rubber, detergents, and more—have all maintained stable growth, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Group.
Notably, the recovery of the fertiliser market in 2025, along with proactive market engagement, production optimisation, and improved management efficiency, provided strong impetus for many of Vinachem’s member units to boost business results, thus contributing positively to the Group’s overall performance.
According to VNTAX’s data, the Top 10 chemical–plastics enterprises contributed approximately VND 7,700 billion to the state budget in 2025. Vinachem alone accounted for nearly 30% of the total budget contributions by the recognised group, continuing to maintain a significant lead over other enterprises in the ranking. This not only reflects the scale and business effectiveness of the Group but also underscores the responsibility of state-owned enterprises in providing a stable source of revenue for the national budget.
Consistently holding the leading position in budget contributions over many years is testament to the effectiveness of Vinachem’s ongoing reforms, improved management capacity, and the harnessing of collective strength across the system. This achievement further affirms the Group’s status as a cornerstone of Vietnam’s chemical industry and highlights its responsibility in supporting socio-economic development through substantial contributions to the state budget.
