Binh Dien donates VND 100 Million to the “For the Homeland’s Seas and Islands – For the Nation’s Frontline” Fund
Responding to the 2026 campaign “Towards the Homeland’s Seas and Islands – Joining Forces for the Nation’s Frontline”, organised by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Nhut Commune (Ho Chi Minh City), Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company has donated VND 100 million to the “For the Homeland’s Seas and Islands – For the Nation’s Frontline” Fund. This contribution supports local efforts to care for officials, soldiers, and residents serving and living in border and island areas.

The programme took place on 6th August at the Tan Nhut Commune People’s Committee Hall, attended by leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and local Fatherland Front, as well as representatives of agencies, enterprises, religious institutions, and a large number of local residents.
In her address at the launch ceremony, Ms. Hứa Thị Phương Hồng, Member of the Party Committee’s Standing Board and Chairwoman of the Tan Nhut Commune Fatherland Front Committee and the Management Board of the “For the Homeland’s Seas and Islands – For the Nation’s Frontline” Fund, emphasised that safeguarding the nation’s maritime and island sovereignty is a shared responsibility of society. Every contribution from organisations, enterprises, and citizens helps encourage officials and soldiers at the front, boosting morale and providing resources to fulfil the sacred task of defending national sovereignty.

In response to the call, Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company contributed VND 100 million to the Fund. This regular activity reflects the company’s community responsibility and continues its longstanding social welfare programmes in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities across the country.
As a business headquartered in Tan Nhut Commune, Binh Dien consistently supports local social activities, cares for residents’ wellbeing, and engages in community initiatives. Supporting the “For the Homeland’s Seas and Islands – For the Nation’s Frontline” Fund not only demonstrates corporate social responsibility, but also expresses the collective goodwill of Binh Dien’s staff towards those officials, soldiers, and citizens who steadfastly defend the nation’s sovereignty at sea and on the islands.

According to the organisers, this year’s campaign has received support from 70 agencies, units, enterprises, religious institutions, socio-political organisations, and individuals in Tan Nhut Commune, raising over VND 1.03 billion in total. All funds will be used to improve the welfare of officials, soldiers, and residents in border and island areas, strengthening the home front and motivating frontline forces.

Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company’s involvement in the programme once again affirms the company’s tradition of responsibility and solidarity with the community. Each contribution not only has material significance but also represents practical encouragement, helping to foster national unity and support those who are working tirelessly to protect the country’s sacred maritime and island sovereignty.
